From the bride, Tania:
We were married in an evening ceremony held at the Saskatoon Farmer’s Market, surrounded by our families and closest friends. We really liked the idea of an evening ceremony where everyone could come and stay to celebrate. Bliss Fine Food catered an arrangement of appetizers and desserts. We had a short program and then the party began!
In our opinion we had the best wedding cake EVER! Thanks to Bridge City Cakes for creating our awesome green dragon cake. Our cake cutting was a fun moment as our cake drew a lot of attention!
The globe string lights that hung from the ceiling were a must have in my books, and I was so pleased with the way they transformed the Market. We danced the night away under a canopy of twinkling lights, and ended the night with a midnight lunch provided by the Ace Burger food truck. The midnight food truck was unique and fun, and it was a huge hit!
If it is in your budget, hire a wedding planner! It was by far the best decision we made. There were no hiccups throughout the day, and if there were, we had no knowledge of them. We showed up said our vows and partied the night away, and the best part was walking out the door at the end of the night leaving it all behind.
I would say the first look was something I will always remember. We decided to have our pictures taken pre-ceremony and it gave us time alone which was really special.
Our vows and first dance were also very memorable. I will never forget the feeling of saying “I do”.
