Real Brides: Thankful

Sask Ever After

Happy Thanksgiving from Sask Ever After! We hope that you get to spend time with the ones you love, stuff yourself full of wonderful food, and enjoy some time with your fiancé. We polled our brides and grooms and asked them what they were thankful for during either their planning process or on the the wedding day. Here is what some of them had to say:

“My Maid of Honour, Sarah. She kept me calm on the wedding day. Sarah remembered all the things that I forgot that day, like my vows!” – Megan R. –

“I was so thankful that all my family could attend our wedding. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We have all grown up and moved all over the world. I didn’t think everyone could make it, but they did and it meant so much.” – Kari T. –

“Coffee.” – T.B. –

“My fiancé. Brian always keeps me grounded. I had never planned anything like this before, so I am finding it really overwhelming. He is my sounding board on every area of the wedding for all my crazy ideas. He doesn’t think everything is as important as I do (like the napkin colours and centrepieces) but we  are making all the decisions together. It is going to be the best day.” – Cheryl and Todd –

“I was so thankful for my Mom and everything she did throughout the planning process. She did pickups of rentals and even helped me find the perfect bridal party gifts. I couldn’t have had the wedding without her.” – Chelsea J. –
