Expert Question: What to Expect from Your Videographer

A wedding day is over in the blink of an eye. The best way to document all the beautiful moments is through video. Have you ever wondered what you will get on that video from the day? We asked Brittany from Gossner Productions to let you know what to expect.

What can you expect from your videographer on the day of you wedding?
The videographer is there to capture your day so that you can relive your wedding day again and again when you get your wedding video back. When people don’t notice the camera, that’s when the magic happens. Most of the time, I try not to be noticeable so that I can capture those special candid moments. You know the ones where Grandma is quietly giving the bride advice, when the groomsmen are goofing off in the corner, or the little nephew chasing after the cat – those cute moments that make family family. There are times when the camera will be in your face, but throughout the day I try to get to know everyone and joke around a little bit so that they are comfortable having me hanging around… with four cameras!

So to wrap up the question, expect your videographer to be around quietly documenting your day, and when they aren’t around they are probably filming Uncle Eddie doing a shot.
