Father/Daughter Dance Song Ideas

In honour of Father’s Day this weekend we have compiled a great list of songs for your father/daughter dance. Use something straight from the list or simply use it for inspiration. The best advice that we can give about choosing your song is to have it mean something to you and your dad. You may want to play that new song that you heard on the radio, but that might not mean a lot to your father. Take into consideration what type of music he likes as well. This will make him enjoy the moment as well. Instead of the ‘Top 40’ popular hits, find something that the two of you have musically in common: maybe the two of you love the Beatles, or have a thing for country. If the two of you love heavy metal, look for a cover song of something on our list by your favourite artist. Try searching for songs that came out the year you were born. Making the song sentimental and reminiscent of the day you become a part of his life is always a good path to go down. Really, the possibilities are endless.
