Emma and Josh returned to the Saskatchewan River Hills for an after-session with photographer Nikki Hartog from Captured Photography by Nikki.
From the bride, Emma:
Our wedding day took place on my family farm. It meant so much to my dad that I wanted to have the whole thing there! Everything was a blank canvas for us to create exactly what we wanted. Josh’s dad made us beautiful barn doors to walk through as well as an arch to stand under while we were pronounced husband and wife. My dad built a shop for the reception that was ready just in time. It was completely bare, with white walls, so we got to make whatever look we wanted! Our colors were navy and coral, with a “country chic” theme – a combination of burlap and a lot of sparkle. The ceremony was outside on the open grass and the pictures were taken at a piece of land that has been in my family for years! The whole day was a blast and we were so blessed by everyone who came to support us on this special day!
